Committee instituted to probe alleged money demand

CCpur, May 29: The Deputy Commissioner Churachandpur Pawan Yadan have today instituted a three-member committee to probe the ‘alleged demand of money’ made by the staff of Treasury Office Churachandpur to clear family pension.
The committee to be headed by Khaikhopau Ngaihte, Assistant Commissioner Churachandpur will have to submit their report within a week. ‘The committee shall enquire whether there is any misconduct on the part of official (s) of Treasury Office, Churachandpur and shall submit its findings on or before June 6, said the order.’
Other members of the committee include Hasby Haokip, Additional SP and Prince Konsham, Treasury Officer Churachandpur.
It may be noted that a purported video recorded inside the office wherein a female was seen arguing with two purported staff of the Treasury Office over payment of money has gone viral today. The viral video which was embedded with an English subtitled said it was recorded today.
