AR aids accident victims

Pherzawl, May 29
 Aina Battalion of Churachandpur Sector under the aegis of IGAR South saved six individuals who met a road accident in the remote area of Pherzawl district today.
An accident took place between an oil tanker of NHIDCL and a car May 28 at a region which has been facing incessant rains since past two days, said a statement of IGAR (S).
On receipt of information, the medical response team of the Aina Battalion of Assam Rifles immediately rushed to the site and provided first aid to the victims travelling in the ill-fated car, said IGAR (s) and added that the six passengers of the car including four children sustained minor injuries.
Saying that the injured locals have been evacuated to District Hospital Churachandpur for advanced medical care, it added.
