Further eased

IMPHAL, May 29: Further easing the lockdown, District Magistrate, Imphal West has relaxed movements of people engaged in certain activities including home delivery of essential commodities/foods and courier services in the district.
The office memorandum dated May 27, allowed the following;
a) Home delivery of essential commodities/foods and courier service firms duly authorised
b) Locality based retail shops dealing with essential commodities like groceries for daily use, vegetables, fruits, poultry meat and fish will be opened from 6 am to 2 pm on all days except Sunday
c) Workshop for truck/tyre repairs; d) Hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, dispensaries, all kinds of medicine shops ie chemists, pharmacies, Jan Aushadhi Kendras and medical equipment shops; e) Veterinary hospitals, dispensaries, clinics and related pathological laboratories and sale and supply of vaccine; f) Distribution of LPG through home delivery; g) Postal service including post office; h) All offices dealing with essential service, Department of Electricity (MSPDCL), Water Supply, Telecom, internet services, IOCL, Bharat Petroleum etc; i) Operation of water/sanitation and waste management sectors;  j) Farming operations by farmers and farm workers in field in rural areas; k) Agencies engaged in procurement of agricultural produce including farmer producers companies; l) Operation of fish farms and fishing/feed plants; m) Collection, processing, distribution and sale of milk and milk products; n) Operation of poultry farms and hatcheries, piggery, dairy development and animal feed manufacturing; o) Reserve Bank of India, RBI regulated financial market, bank branches, ATM and business correspondents; p) Construction of road in rural areas, MGNREGA works, road and railway project in all rural areas; q) Print and electronic media; r) Private security services; s) Food processing units, mineral/packaged drinking water manufacturing and distribution; t) Operation, after care homes, juvenile homes and observation of home of children/disabled/mentally challenged/senior citizens/destitute/women/widows.
The office memorandum informed all authorities concerned to allow free movement of officials individual engaged in the above mentioned sectors for smooth functioning of the activities in the district on production of his/her identity card.
