Unlock 3 from August 1 What reopens, what remains shut

NEW DELHI, Jul 29
The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday issued new guidelines for 'Unlock 3' for opening up of more activities in areas outside of the containment zones.
Unlock 3 will come into effect from August 1.
What's allowed
* Restrictions on movement of individuals during night have been removed
* Yoga institutes and gyms allowed to open from August 5
* Independence Day celebrations will be allowed with social distancing measures
What remains closed
* Schools, colleges and coaching institutes to stay shut till August 31
* Metro rail services
* Cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places to stay shut
* Social/political/sports/entertainment/academic/religious functions and other large congregations to stay suspended
Containment zones
* Lockdown will continue to be implemented strictly in the containment zones till August 31
* Containment zones will be carefully demarcated by State/UT Governments
* Within the containment zones, strict perimeter control will be maintained and only essential services will be allowed
* Activities in containment zones will be monitored strictly by the authorities     Courtesy Times of India
