NHM contract health workers to cease work from today

IMPHAL, Jul 7: With no concrete response from the State Govt regarding regularization of all the NHM contractual staff of Manipur, All Manipur National Health Mission Employees Welfare Association (AMNEWA) has announced a cease work strike from tomorrow. It may be noted that the association had submitted a meeting resolution on June 30 to State Mission Director and Principal Secretary (Health) for regularization of all the NHM contractual staff of Manipur where an ultimatum was given for an assurance on or before July 7. During the period, they protested by wearing black badge while performing their respective duties, said president AMNEWA W Tejendra.
