Fingering of Ladakh

Normally we have five fingers - thumb, index, middle, ring and pinkie or little. But only recently we have learnt that Ladakh has got eight fingers ; again we are not aware of the names of these fingers , perhaps they  are known by their numbers - one , two , three and so on. Ladakh fingers are basically mountain spurs. Fingering is also a fine wool for knitting.
Line of Actual Control (LAC) is the virtual boundary line between India and China. LAC has 3 sectors - eastern, middle and western. The main contention  between India and China is on the LAC. Both sides disagree on the exact location of the LAC.The Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army (PLA - Chinese Army ) both try to dominate by patrol to the areas up to their respective perspective of LAC.
The present Sino-Indian tension is a culmination of frequent fingering along the fingers in Ladakh. The actual dispute is between finger four and eight. The area between 4 and 8 is about eight Kms.
India says Line of Actual Control (LAC) falls in finger 8. Whereas China says  LAC falls in finger 4. Perhaps finger one to four are with India and five to eight are with China ( not very sure ).Now the contentious areas have extended to Pangong Tso, Depsang, Chumar, Demchok etc.
Not only in Ladakh, they are very fond of fingering in Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan and  around the world. We have seen it in the South China sea and now they are gradually extending their interest and presence in the Indian Ocean. Perhaps they feel that the South China sea does  belong to China and they want to control the Indian Ocean in the near future.
One intrinsic issue is that China wants to dominate the world by 2049 , the centenary year of the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Chinese Defense White Paper of 2019 indicated that . In the next 30 years or so they will do everything possible to achieve their goal.
To show our annoyance about the constant fingering at the borders, Chinese internet applications have been banned or delinked in India . Many have started boycotting Chinese products or  avoiding funds or aids from China. We think that doing so we are hurting the  'dragon' but we should not forget that equally the 'elephant' is also injured. Those who are dependent on Chinese apps, products, aids and business are under tremendous stress. For instance, my nephew, a computer software developer using Chinese apps, is now almost defunct.
From munsif court ( lowest court ) to Federal court I have some wakil friends who are actually bad lawyers but extremely capable ; so surely they would defend me in any litigations (will help me on 'pro bono' basis under Art 39A ). But if I indulge in something faux pas in the diplomatic area or at the international level I don't have  lawyers to defend/represent me in the International Court of Justice  . So let me restrain myself by simply appealing to our great neighbor that let us not destroy one another, instead let's compete and grow faster.
World Powers may want or instigate  a war between India and China ; so both sides must  be extremely extremely careful and cautious . Global powers can't think of either China or India taking over their space in terms of global hegemony. Let's remember the nuclear-weapon doctrine MAD ( mutually assured destruction ) - rather a deterrence doctrine. You may destroy us but you will  remain crippled forever.
Rijiju is going to Ladakh to get back his five brothers who astrayed around McMahon Line . Hope he will get them back safe and sound from the Chinese authorities . A few days back we had respectfully handed over three Chinese citizens who accidentally landed at Sikkim crossing the international borders.
Let's stop intensional trespassing at the borders . We know your military superiority but in case of a full blown war using nuclear weapons , no one will be the winner.
Let's talk and talk and talk till we find a way out, "Julley Julley "( Ladakh ki wishes ).
