AIMS locks Education Engineering Wing's office

IMPHAL, Sep 18: A team of AIMS led by Nikarson Khumancha locked the office of the Education Engineering Wing, citing irregularities in building construction project at DM University and Engineering College, Heirok.
AIMS claimed that the signature on the file of the project was signed by one, Benson Chabungbam, Principal Architecture of BBS Architecture, who is not related to the project.
Benson Chabungbam had also clarified on July 16 last that he signed the file on the advice of the Chief Engineer.
Protecting such unscrupulous officials by the Government is rather unfortunate, added AIMS.
