COVID-19 awareness prog continues

The Peoples' Task Force for COVID-19 (PTFC-19), in association with the Indian Red Cross Society Manipur State branch, Indian Medical Association and Association for Health Care Providers of India in continuation of conducting COVID-19 awareness programme, organised similar programmes at different localities today.
In Lamlai Lai Haraobung, an awareness programme on COVID-19 was organised in association with the Lamlai COVID-19 Task Force and was attended by N Bimol, co-convenor PTFC-19, Dr Brojen Akoijam, HoD Community Medicine RIMS and former president IMA and Narendra Ningombam, Chairman IRCS Manipur State branch as resource persons.
Thokchom Nabakumar, chairman Lamlai COVID-19 Task Force, M Helendro, vice chairman Lamlai COVID-19 Task Force, Takhelmayum Punimasi, president Lamlai Apunba Meira Paibi Lup graced the programme as presidium members.
The resource persons highlighted the do's and don'ts and precautionary measures against COVID-19 and appealed people not to gather/crowd in a room, specially A/C rooms.
The team along with the Youth Progressive Front Yaingangpokpi organised awareness programme at Yaingangpokpi Bazar, attended by Dr Shyamkumar Laishram, IMA president, Ph Inaobi, secy Yaingangpokpi Village Committee, Narendra Ningombam, ChairmanIRCS I/E branch as presidium members.
Similar programme was conducted at the Awang Jiri Naharol Yaipha Club Sanglen, in collaboration with Awang Jiri COVID-19 Task Force, which was attended by T Khaba, president DPUVO, dr Angom Ronibala, Sr MO Khumbong PHC, I Jugindro, former president Naharol Yaipha Club Awang Jiri, Dr Y Mohen, chairman IRCS Manipur State branch, Th Lamjingba, secy DPUVO, Dr Arun, secy Indian Medical Association, Thiyam Saratchandra, co-convenor PTFC-19 as resource persons and presidium members.
The team will continue to hold more such awareness programme in other parts of the State.
