IMPHAL, Sep 20: Imphal East commando seized 2,20,000 WY tablets and heroin from one drug peddler at tri-junction of Thiyam road, today.
The person has been identified as Amuba alias Md Attap (27), S/o Md Niyamat Ali of Sora Ching Wangma, Kakching.
Speaking to media persons, SP Imphal East, Jogeshchandra Haobijam said that one Tata Magic and a mobile phone was seized from his possession.
On interrogation, the arrested person disclosed that the drugs belonged to one Md Wahidur of Sora Ching Wangma, Kakching district.
The arrested person and the seized drugs have been handed over to Irilbung Police Station, he added.
