Pvt school teachers

IMPHAL, Sep 20 : The Manipur Private School/College Teachers' Association has been formed  today during a meeting at Khunthokhanbi Shanglen, DM college gate. The association was formed to meet the aspirations and to secure the rights of the private schools of the State.
At the meeting, six resolutions were adopted unanimously by the teachers present, said a statement issued by the Association.
The resolutions include, as resolved in the first meeting held on September 17, to constitute an interim committee and the committee has been entrusted with drawing up a plan of action for the welfare of the private school teachers.
All private school teachers of the State have also been invited to join the association and a meeting has been lined up for all private school teachers on October 5  at the same venue to formally elect an executive committee while observing the SOPs.
Discussions regarding the safe opening of schools after the COVID-19 pandemic with stakeholders will also be held as well as to sensitize teachers and the administrators on the paradigm shift in National Education Policy, 2020.
