Governor donates for Ram Mandir construction

IMPHAL, Jan 15: As the fund drive for construction of Ram Temple began yesterday, Governor Dr Najma Heptulla donated her share of contribution today.
The amount donated by the Governor was received by a delegation of Manipur State Shri Ram Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Samiti comprising Dinesh Tiwari, organising secretary Visha Hindu Parishad NE, Dr Sinam Rajendra Singh, BB Sharma, Shivadutta Singh and Khwairakpam Rajen Singh at the Raj Bhavan, Imphal this morning.
Dr Najma Heptulla also extended her best wishes for early completion of the Temple.
It may be noted that Chief Minister N Biren Singh had donated Rs 10,00,500  towards the construction of the Ram Temple yesterday.
Meanwhile, Shri Ram Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Samiti has appealed to the people of Manipur irrespective of religion, caste and creed to extend monetary assistance towards the construction of the Temple at Ayodhya. The fund drive will continue till the end of this month.
