Konghom Area Sports Meet 2021 kicks off

KANGPOKPI, Jan 15: Former Principal Manager (North East), BSNL, J Lunkim, retd ITS opened the 29th Konghom Area Sports Meet 2021 at Ngamsei Memorial Playground at S Mongbung village in Kangpokpi district.
The sports event is being organized under the theme 'Unity in Adversity' by Konghom Area Youth Development Union (KAYDU). The inaugural ceremony was graced by J Lunkim;  Thangkam Lupheng, ex-Member ADC Sadar Hills and Tonglen Khongsai, BJP State Secretary ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh as chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively. The tournament will culminate on January 30.
