KFA's Night Tourney : RFU Kpi, SMT Haipi, SCYC victorious

KANGPOKPI, Oct 14 : Real Friends United (RFU), Kangpokpi under the guidance of former ISL player Boithang Haokip opened their winning account in the ongoing KFA's Open Night Tournament 2021 at D Phaihel as they beat Football Club Sengol, Imphal 2-0 in the second match of the tournament yesterday night.
Vumminlen scored both the goals for RFU Kangpokpi in the 52th and 56th minutes after the team failed to overcome Imphal team in the opening half.
In the third match of the tournament, SMT Haipi defeated United Youngstar Saikul with a similar goal margin as Satboilen of the losing team conceded an own goal in the 44th minute before Thangmoi scored the decider in the 55th minute.
South Changoubung Youth Club sealed a comeback 3-1 win over Taq Chapa Saitu in the fourth match of the tournament.
Seigoumang (30'), Mangtinlen (46') and Seiminhao (51') were on target for South Changoubung Youth Club after Lamminlal provided the Saitu side an early lead with his goal in the 15th minute.
