1st Bena Lun Phom Sports Meet cum Cultural Event-2021 concludes

Senapati, Oct 14 : The 1st Bena Lun Phom Sports Meet cum Cultural Event-2021 concluded today at Thonglang Atongba village. Hosted by Thonglang Atongba village, the sports meet started on October 11, 2021.
Football, Volleyball and other athletic games were the main sporting events of the meet jointly organised by Thonglang Atongba village, Thonglang Akutpa village and Chawangkining village.
The validictory function was attended by N Kayisii, MLA of Tadubi AC as the chief guest. Speaking on the occassion, N Kayisii expressed gratitude to the organising committee for inviting him to be part of the event.  He said sports is now one of the biggest industry and professionals in sports are respected and admired by young and old.
It is also a channel to bridge differences and build friendship and unity, he said and urged youth to play with diligence and determination so as to excel in the field.
A cultural dance competition was also held as part of the event. The programme was attended by the residents of the 3 villages, village chairmen and secretaries of the 14 Mao villages besides leaders from various organisations and forums of Tadubi Assembly Constituency.
