If you can't afford expensive air purifiers (air filters), start planting plants that can be kept indoors.  Some plants absorb toxic particles from the air.
According to R. Suresh, these plants are seen as a good solution to pollution.  However, according to some experts, there is no hard evidence to support this.  But even if the plants can't do anything, they can still give you peace of mind.
This is how to protect your life from 'poisonous' air
There are palms, money plants and many such plants that can be well preserved even in low sunlight.  They also clean the air and refresh the atmosphere.
The following plants can be easily planted indoors:
Erica Palm: It adapts very easily to low sunlight environments at home.  A NASA study found that the plant has great ability to clean air.  It absorbs carbon dioxide very well.
Money Plant: This is also a very easy to manage plant.  It is characterized by its ability to clean up airborne carpets and contaminants from artificial plants.  It also removes volatile organic compounds from the air.
Dragon Tree: This East African native plant adorns many homes and offices.  It also cleans a variety of toxins such as airborne toxic volatile organic compounds.
Snake plant: This is a flowering plant that does not need much water, especially in winter, it absorbs carbon dioxide very well at night.  It can also effectively clean nitrogen dioxide from the air.
