Governor wishes

IMPHAL, Oct 18 : Governor La Ganesan has extended his greeting to the people of the State, especially the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi which falls on October 19.
In a message issued today, the Governor appealed to all the people to re-dedicate themselves to promote the eternal message of love, justice and brotherhood which the Prophet preached to the people.
The Governor added that such ideals have special relevance and importance today, when human society has been affected by evils like religious conflicts, communal hatred and violence.
Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh and CAF&PD Minister Th Satyabrata Singh also extended their wishes to the people of the State especially the Muslim community on the occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi.
