Nishikant spells out reasons for entering politics

Imphal, Oct 20 : Owner of the The Sangai Express Nishikant Singh Sapam has stated that he wouldn't have entered electoral politics had Keishamthong AC and Manipur been proceeding in the direction towards development.
Nishikant further stated that his agenda for contesting the State Legislative Assembly election is to do some notable works for Keishamthong AC and Manipur at large.
Addressing media persons during an opening ceremony of the 4 new women and youth wing offices for Team Nishikant at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai and Nepra Menjor Leikai, the intending candidate reiterated that he would do his work with complete transparency and accountability if elected.
Further stating he would give his best to ensure that basic amenities and infrastructure are available to the people, Nishikant asserted that he would never compromise on his assurance.
On the number of candidates seeking BJP ticket from the AC, Nishikant responded that he will surely get the ticket for the saffron party.
Saying that BJP is a party which follows its ideology rigorously and works in the interest of all irrespective of their background, Nishikant stated that the saffron party would surely give its ticket to the winnable candidate.
Nishikant also conveyed his wishes to the people of both hills and valley of Manipur on the occasion of Mera Houchongba.
