'Nurturing Future Leaders' scholarship scheme launched

BISHNUPUR, Oct 21: Konthoujam Gojendro Trust (KGT) and JECI-IAS, New Checkon jointly launched a scholarship scheme 'Nurturing Future Leaders' for the aspiring IAS and other competitive exams candidates.
The scholarship scheme which is aimed to benefit the underprivileged aspiring candidates was launched at the residence of former MLA of Bishnupur Assembly Constituency, Govindas Konthoujam at Bishnupur and a Memorandum of Understanding was inked between KGT and JECI, IAS.
The launching programme was attended by former MLA Govindas Konthoujam, Director JECI, IAS, Amarjit Angom, Educationist and former OSD, Dept of Education, RK Bishwanath Singh, CEO, ZP, Imphal West, L Manikanta Singh and treasurer of KGT, K Biren Singh as the presidium members.
During the occasion, as a resource person, L Manikanta spoke at length on how to crack the civil services and other competitive exams and guidelines to be followed during the preparation process.
Amarjit Angom assured of fruitful results to all the aspiring candidates who will be joining the JECI, IAS.
Speaking at the occasion, Govindas Konthoujam stressed on the importance of having a determined mindset to pursue one's aspirations and said that education is an inevitable part of one's life.
He continued that JECI, IAS will guide the aspiring candidates and the Konthoujam Gojendro Trust will extend best possible help towards the cause.
The former MLA also assured of providing best possible help to those aspiring candidates and appealed  to them not to be discouraged while striving to pursue their trade or skills of their choice due to financial or any other problems.
