CHURACHANDPUR, Oct 23: The Traffic Control Police in association with Young Paite Association, Bungmual on Saturday installed foldable road dividers at Bungmual village to help streamline traffic and avert road accidents.
The road dividers made of wood were crafted in such a way that they would be foldable and are marked with reflectors to conveniently move them and make them noticeable to drivers at night.
The district police started making road dividers with locally available materials, first with bamboo and then with wood. The dividers installed are further improved to be foldable.
The TCP and representatives of YPA have appealed to the public to help them maintain the dividers as they are public property assembled to help them.
