K Gamnom FBBC building inaugurated

KANGPOKPI, Oct 23: The Fundamental Biblical Baptist Church of K Gamnom under 50-Kangpokpi AC was inaugurated on Saturday.
Rev Sheikholen Chongloi who attended the inaugural ceremony as Minister inaugurated the Church building by cutting the ribbon in the presence of the Kangpokpi AC MLA, Nemcha Kipgen.
The local MLA who had contributed immensely for the construction of the Church building through her 'tithe' said that a village without Church is incomplete as the Church has a huge role in shaping the society starting from the village administration.
She continued that time has come for the Church to immensely exhibit its role in the society as people nowadays have no fear in defying the  word of God for their personal interest.
She said that the Church needs to come forward to invigorate the spirit to eradicate illegal practice of poppy cultivation in the hill districts, especially under Kangpokpi AC to save humanity, land and the people particularly the youths.
The MLA, while appreciating the collective and tireless effort of the Church leaders and villagers in the construction of the Church building, motivated them to continue their work tirelessly in stopping the crumbling society.
Presentations, appreciation and exhortations marked the occasion while the Church Youth Fellowship enthralled the crowd with their marvellous hymnal.
