IMPHAL, Nov 24 : Tampi FC and Lambung YCC registered huge quarter final victories to secure semi-final berths in the ongoing DC Chandel Trophy Football Tournament which is being organised by DSA Chandel at Mini Stadium Chandel.
Lambung YCC dominated their rivals, Chandel Khullen YC and cruised to a 4-1 win to progress into the semi-final today courtesy goals by Mothawar (34'), Shelpa (37', 65') and Mosimla (55').
The lone goal of the losing side was scored by Bekan late in the 76th minute.
Meanwhile in another lopsided quarter final match, Tampi FC blanked Cheengkhu YC 4-0 as Dy Nohrin (9'), RD John (23'), WS Famouse (74') and Sng Phungtha (77') were on target.
Purum Tampak SC will now face Riverland YC in the first semi-final on November 26 at 12 pm before Lambung YCC meet Tampi FC in the last semi-final match at 2 pm.
