State team for Strengthlifting and Bench Press C'ship named

IMPHAL, Nov 25
The Manipur Strength Lifting Association (MSLA) has named players who will be representing Manipur in the 31st Sub-Junior, Junior, Physically Challenged Sr and Master Federation Cup and Men's and Women's National Strengthlifting and Incline Bench Press Championship to be held in Alwar, Rajasthan from December 30 to January 2, 2022.
The athletes as named in statement of the MSLA are Olivia Huidrom of Unique Gym (sub-junior girls 58 kg); S Nillkanta  (Sub-Junior boys 52 kg), Malemnganba Nongthombam ( Sub-Junior boys 60 kg), Shyamcharan Nongmaithem (Sub-Junior boys 68 kg) and Gonango Nongthombam (Sub-Junior boys 76 kg) of Unique Gym.
N Nungsengba of Unique Gym (Junior 76 kg) was also named for the championship besides senior women athletes (L Charishma: 52 kg); K Mangaleima (65 kg), I Monika (72 kg), N Sweety (72 kg), Rajshree Kangujam (80 kg) and Ph Naocha (80 kg).
The team will be led by Kh Ningthem as coach cum manager.
