HYDO edge LLYC in State level Mini Boys' Volleyball tournament opener

IMPHAL, Nov 28 : HYDO, Heigrujam defeated LLYC, Loitang Leikinthabi 2-1 in the opening match of the 20th Mini State Level Volleyball Tournament 2021 organised by the All Manipur Volleyball Association at Khuman Lampak Outdoor Volleyball Court.
HYDO had a rough start and conceded the second set but bounced back to beat LLYC 26-24, 23-25, 16-14 and open up the Group C winning account.
In another Group C league match, USWC, Uchiwa beat AMIMYDO-B, Mayang Imphal 25-21, 19-25, 15-11 for the first win.
In the Group A opener, AMIMYDO-A thumped LMYC, Laipharok 25-15, 25-11.
SCYC-B, Senjam Chirang also notched up a 25-12, 25-17 win over PRSC, Pouraba in another Group A league match.
Meanwhile in the Group B opening match, AMIMYDO-C beat NYVA Naorem 25-15, 28-26.
Earlier HVA, Heigrujam beat MRC, Chajing Mairenkhong 24-26, 25-16, 15-19 in the Group D league opening match.
