HKKSA win Thoubal 1st Division League title

IMPHAL, Nov 29 : HKKSA, Haokha Kiyam Siphai cruised to a 5-1 win over SLYO, Tekcham to earn the title of the First Division Football League Tournament organised by DFA Thoubal at Kshetrileikai Rising Club ground, Thoubal.
HKKSA which had played out a 2-2 draw with PALYC, a 3-3 draw with ELYSA before beating HISU 2-1 in the previous match dominated the game through and rode on braces by M Deril and T Donaldo to beat SLYO 5-1 and emerge on top of the league table.
M Prithiviraj handed HKKSA the lead early in the 17th minute before M Deril opened up his scoring account in the 24th minute of the match.
After a 2-0 first half lead, HKKSA continued to press the Tekcham side and M Deril was on the target again in the 33rd minute to make 3-0.
T Donaldo then carried forward the scoring spree adding his first in the 45th minute before completing his double in the 47th minute to make it 5-0.
S Berlin then scored the face saving goal for the Tekcham side in the 49th minute.
With the result, HKKSA who are levelled on 8 points with ELYSA, Poudel from 2 wins and 2 draws, emerged champions with more goals in their name.
