India reports 526 Covid deaths

NEW DELHI, Nov 7 : India on Sunday reported 10,853 new Covid cases and 526 deaths.
Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases and are currently at 0.42%. This is the lowest since March 2020. India's active caseload stands at 1,44,845. The active cases have been at the lowest in 260 days.
The daily Covid positivity rate stands at 1.18% and the weekly positivity rate is 1.28%. While the daily positivity rate has been less than 2% for the last 34 days, the weekly positivity rate has been less than 2% for the last 44 days now.
India has so far conducted 61.48 crore Covid tests and provided 108.21 crore vaccine doses, said the Union ministry of health and family welfare. TOI
