KKL organises Advent Christmas

Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL) Manipur organised 'Advent Christmas' programme at K Lungwiram Khul located at the foothills of Leimakhong yesterday.
The dignitaries who attended the event were MLA of Sekmai Assembly Constituency, Heikham Dingo Singh, Kabe Abonmei, Village Chief, Rev Th Brojen, general secretary, KKL, Ngamkheingakpa Luwang, Pradhan of Khurkhul, Irungbam Santa, Secretary of AKNCL, Ngangbam Leingallei and Executive Editor of IRAP, RK Bobichand, said a press release issued by KKL.
KKL maintained that the Advent Christmas has been organised to strengthen the bond of love and harmony among the people of the hills and valley region so as to protect the indigenous people from harmful external forces.
The event was attended by around 250 people from Khurkhul, Loitang Khunou, Chirang, Koutruk, Kanto, Kanto Sabal, Leimakhong Chingmang, Pheidinga and well wishers of Kangleipak Kanba Lup Manipur.  
Later a feast was also arranged, added the press release.
