GMC blank UKC in DFA Moirang 3rd Divn League

IMPHAL, Nov 2 : GMC, Phubala cruised to an easy 6-0 win over UKC, Saiton as SEVA, Naransena were held to a 1-1 draw by KRUN FC, Khoirentak in today's Group B league matches of the 1st K Budhi Memorial 3rd Division Football League Tournament.
In the first match of the day at Hemam Nilamani Ngangkhalampak sports complex, SEVA had the lead in the 25th minute via S Satish Singh but lost the lead with Moumon of KRUN FC equalising the score in the 46th minute.
Later in a one sided encounter, GMC started with a bang as Thomash netted the opener just two minutes into the game before Boboy doubled the lead in the 11th minute.
Karnivash then added two goals back to back in the 14th and the 18th minute before Ukaleiba scored another goal in the 21st minute to hand GMC a comfortable 5-0 first half lead.
To UKC's disappointment, Wanglen conceded an own goal in the 41st minute and eventually GMC walked home 6-0.
Tomorrow, in the Group A league matches, SSC, Terakhongsangbi will play AMOFA Academy, Moirang (from 12.15 pm) before IMCC, Ithai play NASA, Ngangkhalawai (from 2 pm).
