BSF celebrates 57th Raising Day

57th Raising Day of Border Security Force (BSF), the largest border guarding force in the world, was celebrated on Wednesday in various places of the State.
113 Battalion BSF also celebrated the Raising Day at its tactical Headquarters, Loktak, said a release issued by 113 Bn BSF.
Retired BSF personnel and family members of martyrs settled in Manipur attended the programme organised by the Battalion and interacted with the troops.
Hidam Shubol Singh, Commandant and all ranks of the Battalion warmly received the veterans, family members of the martyrs of BSF along and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Hidam Shubol Singh reiterated the vital role of BSF in serving and building the Nation by ensuring territorial integrity and unity, guarding every inch of Indo-Pak and Indo-Bangladesh border, counter insurgency operations in different parts of India, disaster relief operations, civic action programmes, etc.
The 57th Raising Day was also observed by CI Posts deployed in different districts of the State.
