LMT, KMT enter Night Football Tourney final

KANGPOKPI, Dec 2: With the end of the semifinal round, Lalcha Memorial Team Saparmeina and KMT Khongngam sailed through to the final of the ongoing Kuki Football Academy's Open Night Football Tournament at D Phaihel, Kangpokpi District.
In the deciding semifinal matches staged yesterday night, Lalcha Memorial Team (LMT) Saparmeina had a narrow 2-1 win over contender Twilang Area Sporting Association (TASA) to enter the final of the prestigious tournament.
Back to back goals from Seigoumang (36') and Paominlun (39') gave the Saparmeina side the final berth as TASA could only manage to pull back a goal through Songpu Singsit in the 70th minute.
In another match, KMT Khongngam was lucky enough to have a 4-2 win over Satlun Memorial Team (SMT), Haipi after a goalless draw in the normal time and an opportunity to play the final match with Lalcha Memorial Team.
The third-place match between SMT Haipi and Twilang Area Sporting Association will be played tomorrow (December 3) evening.
