Awareness programme on ePOS device held

BISHNUPUR, Dec 4 (DIPR)
District Supply Office, CAF & PD, Bishnupur on Saturday organised a one day awareness programme on the use of Electronic Point of Sale (ePOS) device for FPS agents of the district at PRC hall, DC Complex in Bishnupur district.
It was attended by DC Bishnupur, Ranjan Yumnam, IAS; AC to DC Bishnupur, Ejaj Hassan and District Supply Officer, Bishnupur, N Jayanta as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjan Yumnam lauded the present Government for its dedication towards public service by providing good governance.
Stressing on the necessity for ePOS usage by all FPS agents, the DC urged FPS agents of the district to scale up device usage from the current 73.14 % at the earliest to overcome cutdown on allotted shares for the district by the concerned Ministry.
Assuring that any legitimate demands will always be entertained for consideration by the Government, Ranjan Yumnam further appealed to FPS agents of the district to never compromise on shares allocated for beneficiaries while asking them to maintain transparency and address any queries from the public to the best of their satisfaction.
Later, an interaction session with all the FPS agents was also conducted.
