JUVENILE, KAN script emphatic wins in IW Second Divn League

IMPHAL, Dec 4 : JUVENILE, Tera and KAN, Kadangband registered huge wins today in the 10th Kangujam Karnajit Singh Memorial 2nd Division Football League being organised by Imphal West District Football Association at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi.
JUVENILE, who suffered two losses earlier (Group A league matches) were able to redeem themselves today with a 4-1 win over NISC, Lairenjam today as Monex hit a brace in the second half.
Akash gave JUVENILE a 1-0 first half lead with his goal coming up in the 31st minute before Jenish doubled the advantage in the 52nd minute. Monex then took charge of the attack and banged in two goals back to back in the 67th and the 68th minute to make it 4-0.
Remainder however grabbed a face saving goal for the Lairenjam team in the 70th minute.
Later, KAN eased to their second Group (B) stage win with a 5-0 thrashing of SYPA, Awang Sekmai.
M Kishan shone with four goals (8', 20', 50', 59') in this match as KAN led the first half 2-0 and Solomon scored the decisive goal in the 73rd minute and completed the 5-0 rout of SYPA.
