Moirang 3rd Divn LeagueKRUN FC, SEVA post contrasting wins

IMPHAL, Dec 4 : KRUN FC post a 1-0 win over GMC, Phubala as SEVA, Naransena demolished UKC, Saiton 12-0 in the last Group B league matches of the 1st K Budhi Memorial 3rd Division Football Tournament being organised by DFA Moirang at Hemam Nilamani Ngangkhal-ampak Sports Complex.
Eyeing a birth in the semi-finals, SEVA displayed a fine attacking football and scored 6 goal each side of the break to devastate the Saiton team 12-0 as M Bidyananda, M Satish,  Rishikanta all scored twice and Khangembam Adison scored thrice
Maisnam Bidyananda opened the scoring in the 9th minute before completing his brace two minutes later with ease and Maisnam Satish carried forward the scoring spree in the 14th minute before adding another in the 30th minute.
Loukrakpam Rishikanta made it 4-0 with a fine shot in the 16th minute before scoring the other (42') in the latter half of the game.
After Oinam Bikash added his only goal in the 17th minute, Khangenbam Adison took control of the proceedings and hit first in the 18th minute before pumping in the other two in the 34th and the 38th minutes.
Phairembam Shitaljit and Roibam Rishikanta also added a goal apiece in the 36th and the 37th minute as already out of contention UKC failed to put up a show together.
With the win, SEVA finished Group B runners up and will meet Group A winners NASA, Ngangkhalawai tomorrow in the first semi-final match.
Meanwhile, unbeaten KRUN FC sealed a narrow 1-0 win over GMC thanks to Kamlalkhum strike in the 35th minute to finish Group winners and will face Group A runners up AMOFA Academy tomorrow in the second semi-final match.
