Letpao visits remote villages of Tengnoupal

IMPHAL, Dec 5: In a bid to understand the difficulties faced by the people in remote villages of Tengnoupal district, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Letpao Haokip on Saturday visited Kombirei village, Aimol Khunyai, Aimol Tampak and Aimol Khullen.
As part of the visit, the Minister interacted with the villagers to understand their needs and grievances. He also inspected the Aimol Tribe Museum constructed at Aimol Khullen.
Speaking to media persons, Leptao Haokip stres- sed on the need to repair the 3 Kms long Pallel to Aimol village road and assured that he would work to fulfil the long cherished dream of the Aimol people
The Minister further announced that black-topping of the Pallel-Aimol village road would be carried out at the earliest.
It may be mentioned that Letpao Haokip had earlier announced his bid to contest in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2022 from Tengnoupal Assembly Constituency.
