Golden Jubilee CDE Series on dental trauma held

The Director of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal, Professor A Santa Singh inaugurated Golden Jubilee Continuing Education (CDE) Series today at the Jubilee Hall, RIMS.
The Golden Jubilee CDE Series was organized by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Dental College of RIMS, Imphal, said a press release issued by the media advisor, RIMS.
The Director stated that this series will be immensely beneficial to the faculty especially in the area of Dental Trauma Management and the students will learn a lot from the CDE series which is attended by many eminent dental doctors across India and Indian Society of Dental Traumatology.
He further stated that many expensive and sophisticated types of equipment have already been installed in RIMS Trauma Centre and many more are in the pipeline.
The Director also informed that the institute is planning to establish a separate Trauma Unit of Dental College in consultation with the departments concerned.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Professor N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS, Prof MS Muthu, vice president ISDT, Dr Nitesh Tewari, general secretary, ISDT and Dr T Premlata Devi, organizing secretary as the presidium members.
