Biren woos voters at Kakching, Wabagai

KAKCHING, Dec 5: Chief Minister has appealed to one and all to support BJP in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election in order to maintain peace and ensure speedy development of the State.
Two political conferences were held today at WALYDA ground in Wabagai Awang Leikai and CESCA ground, Kakching under the aegis of Wabagai BJP Mandal and Kakching BJP Mandal respectively.
Speaking at the election rallies, N Biren Singh appealed to all the people to support BJP so as to bring development in all fronts and maintain peace and harmony among different communities.
With the coming of BJP Government in the State, many changes have been made. Bandhs and blockades have been minimised, and a number of welfare schemes for the poor and downtrodden have been launched in the State, the Chief Minister claimed.
In view of all such achievements the party has brought in the State, the people of the State should support BJP in order to give BJP majority in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, he added.
Th Biswajit said that in line with the BJP's plan to make India a self-reliant country, the party has taken up a number of projects to develop the State in all sectors.
Connection of Imphal with other parts of the country by train in the next two years will enable thousands of Manipuri to get jobs and help in exporting many produces from the State to other parts of the country, Biswajit said.
Apart from Chief Minister N Biren Singh and  Works Minister Th Biswajit, the election rallies were also attended by Tourism Minister O Lukhoi, Education Minister S Rajen, MP Leishemba Sanajaoba, BJP State unit president A Sharda, Wangjing Tentha AC MLA Paonam Brojen and Kakching AC MLA M Rameshwar.
