SFC win IW 1st Divn title; THAU relegated after 11-0 loss to BMSC

IMPHAL, Dec 5 : Chinglemba doubles helped SFC, Tera  beat YUC, Meijrao 2-1 in the 27th L Sangita Devi Memorial 1st Division league final and get promotion to Imphal West district's super division tier.
Chinglemba scored the opener for SFC in the 13th minute before completing his double in the 44th minute while the lone goal of YUC was scored by Birjit in the 44th minute.
Meanwhile, in the relegation match, BMSC, Taobungkhok demolished THAU, Thangmeiband 11-0 as L Daniel scored 5 goals (2', 26', 27'42', 42') alone including the opener and Maichel added twice (35', 51'). H Binod (12'), Th Priyaball (28'), Kheljit (33') and Jackson (52') also scored for BMSC to help avoid relegation of their team and to sink THAU to second division league.
