Tudor Riamei-Disinlung Gangmei emerge champions

NONEY, Feb 10 : The pair of Tudor Riamei and Disinlung Gangmei lifted the title of the Open Men's Doubles Badminton tournament organised by Longmai Bazaar Youth Club (LBYC) under the sponsorship of 86 Bn CRPF Noney at Longmai Common Ground from February 8 to 9.
The final match of the tournament participated by 18 teams from Noney and Tamenglong districts was graced by Namsadai Peter Kamai, Additional SP, Noney Police, Emmanuel P Mate, Addl SP (Highway) Noney Police and Manohar, OC of 86 Bn CRPF Noney.
Winners, representing Tamenglong-D, Tudor Riamei and Disinlung Gangmei were feted with a cash prize of Rs 5,000 as runners up, Atakna Panmei and Tikimlung Pamei (Tamenglong E) got Rs 2,000 cash prize.
Tamenglong-B represented by Graceson and Poukin finished third in the tournament and were encouraged with a cash prize of Rs 1,000.
