CYLC Open Tennis : H Shanker clinches men's singles title

IMPHAL, Feb 21 : H Shanker clinched the men's open singles title of the 10th CYLC State Open Tennis Tournament organised by Association of Tennis Lovers at CYLC court Chingamathak.
Shankar got the better of Luching Lukram 6-2, 6-4 in the final to walk away with a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a trophy and a certificate.
T Tuleshwor and Th Ribhaskar earned the above 35 years doubles title with a hard fought 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win against Kh Bona and S Rabi in the final.
T Tuleshwor also claimed the above 45 years doubles title along with Kangjamba with a 3-6, 6-1,10-5 win against the pair of N Dilip and Th Ibohal in the final.
The doubles title for above 55 years, went to the pair of Dilip and H Ibotombi who got the better of Sharat and Leishemsana 6-3, 7-5 in the final.
The winners and runners up of all the competitions were feted with cash prizes, trophies and certificates.
