1st AMFA Cup : RAU, LYCC script convincing wins

IMPHAL, Feb 21 : RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai and LYCC, Chandel posted comfortable wins today in the 1st AMFA Cup which is underway at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
In today's first and tournament's 8th match, RAU sealed an easy 3-0 win against SYMROPIA, Churachandpur.
Lamjingba scored the opener for RAU in the 20th minute to make it 1-0 till the break before Ramsem and S Somesh scored a goal each respectively in the 75th and the 80th minute to ensure the 3-0 finish.
Later in the day, goals by SK Damme (23'), Dilbungrenghong (60'), Chara Mongampha (74') and Bedeenpar (82') ensured LYCC romped to 4-1 win against TRUGPU, Nambol. The lone goal for the losing side was scored by Sanjoy in the 34th minute.
