22 join BJP in Heirok

Thoubal, Feb 23 : Altogether 22 'Congress supporters' from Heirok Ngarouthel Leikai joined BJP, today.
Heirok AC MLA, Dr Th Radheshyam welcomed them by presenting the party's saffron-coloured caps and shawls.
At the felicitation event, Dr Radheshyam said that his topmost priority as an elected representative is to look after the people of his constituency.
The former Minister asserted that differences of opinions or ideologies among people should never be mistaken for disrespect and we should all work together towards bringing development in the constituency and the State as a whole.
BJP Heirok Mandal president Thokchom Chourjeet also attended the programme among others.
