AMOFA Academy beat ELSA in 5 goal thriller

IMPHAL, Feb 24 : AMOFA Academy, Moirang overcame ELSA, Naranseina 3-2 in the 2nd K Babu Memorial Super Division Football League 2021 being organised by DFA Moirang at Moirang Multipurpose Ground.
Both the teams made a fine start to the game and AMOFA Academy were 1-0 ahead when Avinash drew first blood in the 22nd minute after a fine run.
ELSA however rode on Kh Alu's equaliser in the 31st minute before Alu found the target and completed his brace in the 35th to overturn the lead.
After having trailed by 1-2 margin, AMOFA Academy pushed hard for the equaliser after the break and eventually earned it in the 43rd minute through Suraj before Mangilal helped the team retain the lead and 3-2 win at the end of the match.
