KHASA Tournament Slender 1-0 wins for Leisenbung YC, Khoirentak Khuman YC (A)

CCPUR, Feb 23 : Leisenbung YC and  Khoirentak Khuman YC (A) posted similar 1-0 wins at Khoirentak Khuman playground, Churachandpur district in the ongoing 26th Kapaih Hill Area Sports Association (KHASA) tournament (football and volleyball).
In the first match of the day, Leisenbung YC earned the 1-0 win against Nalon YC via a late 75th minute strike by Thomas.
KLK (Jounoi) got a walk over win against LKYC in the second match.
Khoirentak Khunou YC, in the third match, snatched a 3-1 win against Bunglon YC riding on goals by Thangrengchung (13') and Lenneihao (35' & 50').  Hengoulul (25') scored the lone goal for the losing side.
Later in the fourth match, G Khomunnom YC suffered a huge 0-3 loss to New Ningthiching YC as Gouminthang (3' & 17') and Sanglen (39') found the target.
Meanwhile in the last and the 5th match, Khoirentak Khuman YC (A) won 1-0 against Laimanai YC thanks to S Richard Neisolen's goal in the 58th minute.
Volleyball matches
B Khonom YC defeated Muolpheitampak YC in the first match of the men's volleyball competition staged today and  Bunglon YC overcame Gelmol YC in the second match.
Muolhoih YC also won against Nalon YC in the third match of the same competition.
Muolhoih YC meanwhile defeated Bunglon YC in the only women's match staged today.
