Drug peddlers apprehended

IMPHAL, Feb 25
A combined team of CDO Thoubal and Lilong Police Station arrested two drug peddlers on February 23.
The arrested drug peddlers are Khursida Begum (28) and Sumabi (26) of Lilong Ushoipokpi Tharaorok and 78.6 grams of heroin (No 4), 1258 Spasmo Proxivon (SP) capsules and 20 bottles of cough syrup along with some cash were seized from them, said a statement from police.
A case has been registered at Lilong Police Station for further investigation.
