CRAU sail into Plate Tourney final

IMPHAL, Mar 1 : CRAU, Khambam Bazar moved into the final of the 5th MNCA Plate Tournament with an 8 wicket win against KSDO, Kiyamgei at Model Club Hr Secondary School and Oriental College Cricket Ground today.
KSDO having won the toss put up a lowly total of 71 runs losing all the wickets in 27.2 overs out of 40 stipulated overs as T Kala (4/18 in 8 overs), Jotin (3/1 in 2.2 overs) and Uttam (2/33 in 6 overs) of CRAU rattled their batting line up.
Rakesh (31), Ronil (18), T Kala (9) and Dennis (7) then helped CRAU ease to 73 in 10.1 overs at the cost of 2 overs for the big win. Shamir and Tariq of KDSO managed a wicket each in a losing cause.
T Kala of CRAU was eventually adjudged man of the match.
WYC, Thoubal Wangkhem will play Muvanlai, New Lambulane in the last semi-final match tomorrow.
