Mass anti-drugs rally on Mar 7

IMPHAL, Mar 2: A mega rally against drugs will be held on March 7, said Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) president Jeetendra Ningomba today.
Speaking to media persons at the committee’s office, Jeetendra said the mass rally will be hosted by the User Connection Supportive Committee Kangleipak (UCSCK) under Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK).
The rally is expected to be the biggest ever against drugs and it will start from Kangla Western Gate at 10 am (March 7). The rally then will proceed towards Khoyathong, North AOC, Minuthong, Hatta, Checkon and end at  Hapta Kangjeibung with a meeting.
The rally will be held on the motto "No to Drugs, Yes to Life", he said, appealing people to join the rally and support the movement to make Manipur free of drugs.
He further appealed to all concerned not to call bandh, blockade and general strike on March 7 for successful conduct of the rally.
An anti-drugs theme T-shirt was launched during the press meet.
