Quake jolts NE

GUWAHATI, Mar 21 : Different places in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday evening experienced an earthquake of Magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale at 5.52 pm.
Confirming the news, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) on its Twitter handle said the earthquake occurred in Nagaon at a depth of 25 km (Latitude: 26.53 and Longitude: 92.58).
Earlier on the day at 10:06 am, an earthquake of Magnitude 4.2 on the Richter Scale occurred 77 km south-east of Mokokchung in Nagaland.
