Poumai FC emerge champions of 6th Friendship Tournament

SENAPATI, Mar 2 : Poumai FC won the title title of the 6th Friendship Tournament, 2021 organised since February 23 at Mayangkhang Ningthoupham by Mayangkhang Ningthoupham Youth Organization under the theme, “Nurturing Friendship”.
Poumai FC defeated Kuki United Brothers FC 2-1 in the final match staged today to walk away Rs 50,000 richer apart from receiving the trophy. Runners up team on the other hand received Rs 20,000 along with a trophy.
Best defender, Thangkivet of Kuki United Brothers FC; Best goalkeeper, Tara Gachui of Fusion FC; best player, Rakeveiche of the Poumai FC; top scorer, Dahrii of Poumai FC and best discipline team, Ring FC were also feted with cash prizes and trophies. In all 12 teams participated in the annual tournament.
