PAC celebrates 37th foundation day

IMPHAL, Apr 11 : Performing Artistes Centre (PAC), Khurai has observed its 37th foundation day at its hall, today.  
The celebration was graced by Member of  Khurai Nandeibam Leikai Zilla Parishad, Athokpam Okendra;  PAC president, Thangjam Mani and social worker Laitonjam Jayananda as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
As a part of the function, the gatherings paid floral tributes to the photos of deceased members and mentors of the centre while the students presented cultural items.
Recipients of Vaibhav Nartak Puraskar award, Okram Jiten and Nartak Nipuna Puraskar award, Keisham Somorjit were also felicitated during the programme.
At the event, L Jayananda stated that the artistes of the State possess certain innate qualities which can't be seen in artistes of other States.
The social worker also said that he will contribute in upgrading the centre.
PAC was established in 1985.
