Tbl Super Division Football League SYDA bounce back as ASSA blank DUC 6-0 for third win on trot

IMPHAL, Apr 12 : SYDA, Athokpam bounced back from opening match defeat to carve out a 5-2 win over SWYC, Charangpat while ASSA, Sangaiyumpham overwhelm-ed DUC, Charangpat by 6-0 goals for the third straight victories in the Lambamayum Memcha Super Division Football League 2021 being underway at Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Wangjing.
In their second outing today, SYDA rode on a brace by Kumarjit and singles from Ronaldo Singh, L Chittaranjan and Y Rahul to notch up a huge win.
Though SYDA finished big, SWYC found the breakthrough first through Kh Pritam in the 14th minute before Loitongbam Kumarjit added twice in the 17th and the 25th minute to overturn the lead before halftime.
SYDA picked up the game from where they left and earned their third goal through H Ronaldo in the 42nd minute.
SWYC gained some confidence after they managed to pull back another through K Juremba in the 55th minute but L Chittaranjan further extended SYDA lead to 4-2 in the 65th minute.
Within two minutes, Y Rahul scored another for SYDA and thus completed the 5-2 beating of SWYC.
Later in the day, Md Ejaj Khan of ASSA took centre stage as he hit a hattrick (12', 18', 53') after his team mate Md Asif Khan opened up the scoring early in the 4th minute.
Md Samir Khan then scored the team's fifth at the stroke of the hour mark before Md Arish Khan hit the final nail in the 69th minute and helped ASSA the 6-0 rout of DUC.
