Speaker gets vaccine jab

IMPHAL, Apr 12: After Chief Minister N Biren and some Cabinet Ministers were vaccinated against COVID-19 yesterday, Speaker Y Khemchand was administered the first dose of the vaccine at Urban Health Centre, Singjamei today.
Speaking to media persons after receiving the COVID vaccine jab, Khemchand observed that several States are currently  reeling under the second wave of  COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts are reflected in Manipur too. The growing fear for the second wave sweeping throughout the country is largely a result of not being careful enough, he remarked.
He then called upon all the people to get vaccinated and strictly adhere to the Covid SOP.
